Situated at 4kms in North from 'Adavad' in Chopada Taluka, Jalgaon Distric on Burhanpur-(Ankleshwar) Highway.
It is a nice looking natural site at the foot of the satpuda.

History

This religious holy place is beloved to be hermitage of Sage Sharbhang in "Ramayana".Prabhu Shri Ram visited this hermitage after killing Ravan in Lanka. In ancient times this place was known as "Unapdeo".This place is famous for a spring of hot water. It is beloved that this spring of hot water was created when an arrow heat by Prabhu Ramchandra in ground. This spring is so hot that if you put rice in water the rice will become cooked rice after some time. In sanskrit the hot water is pronounced as "Uchnap". Hence the place was pronounced as "Uchnap". After some period of time people recognising it as a religious place, added word 'deo' ahead of "Uchnap". In this way the place was pronouned as "Unapdeo". After a huge period of time due to the currupt we of this word by people the place is now pronounced as "Unapdeo".

It is surprising to note that after so many years in present hand summers also this spring flows fluenty. British scients alos tried to find out the secret of this amaking spring but could not succeded in locating the source. The water of this spring is tasteless & it has specific kind of smale.

In 1854 Bombay (present known as Mumbai) Medical & Physical Sociaty carried out chemical analysis of the water but no medical property coudn't found any medical properties. Many people have experianced that after having a bath in this spring of water, the various kind of skin desease get cured.
