Tarsod :  Lord Shree Ganapati

Tarsod  is a holy religious place of Lord Shree Ganesha , situated at 8 km. From Jalgaon & 3km from  Nashirabad on Jalgaon - Bhusawal highway in Maharastra.The place is a nice looking natural site to visit.
There is a temple of Lord Shri Ganesha having a huge gateway of 30 feet height for entrance known as ‘RamanDwar’ .
Trust : The trust “Shri Kshetra Ganapati Mandir Sansthan, Tarsod” was established In 1980. This trust started to look after this place. Mr. Shivajirav Ramaji Patil was the first Chairman of this trust. A temple was established in 1662 by Mr. Moreshwar Hanumant Deshmukh from Muradkhed. In ancient times Parampujya Govind Maharaj & Siddhayogi Zipru Anna Maharaj helped in popularizing this place. It is stated that PESHWAY (Ruler in ancient times) were used to visit the place.
In 1987, Late. Puna Ukhaji Rajput from Tarsod village donated 36R of farm field to the trust for the devlopment of Lord Ganesha’s Temple.
